I had such grand photography plans today - I have an adapter for my camera & my telescope, and the moon is very nearly full, and it was a bright, sunny afternoon and clear evening. Sounds perfect, right? But. The clear skies had disappeared by the time the younger two were in bed. And I dug the 'scope out of the basement anyway to see if I could manage it in the little breaks between the clouds...and discovered I need a different, smaller adapter.
So, Matthew is filling in for me today. I love the way he always points the camera at his own face while telling me to say "cheese"!
