March 14th - the day when math nerd families celebrate by consuming pie. Only, I think the idea has leaked out to the general population, because the only pies left in the bakery today were mini pies.
Figuring out how many 5" mini pies were equivalent to a 9" full size pie was a simple case of applying 𝝅r² to the pies...deciding which flavors was harder. However, since Matthew wanted to put all of the pies in our basket, I just had to pick up the first three I saw and hope for the best.
