Old Fashion Christmas by skipt07

Old Fashion Christmas

Yesterday I decided to follow Grandma's recipe for a cold, chicken soup. I had a bowl and it really worked. I feel much better better today. Thank you all for your kind wishes. I felt so good I went for a walk and saw that the historical society started decorating for Christmas. While I think this is a little early, I liked the look of the wreath on the these old style windows.
Nicely captured. Glad you are feeling better.

@danette - Thank you very much Danette on both counts!!

@chrissieh - Thank you Chrissie!! It seems like retail stores dictate our holidays. We go right from Halloween to Christmas and there is very little about our reason to be thankful. Why? Because that is when people spend the most money and that is all the retailers care about. I think we all should go on strike.

Glad you're feeling better. I love the look of the old style Christmas....but it's way too early for me. Christmas stuff was going up before Hallowe'en...and you're right...it's all about money, not the reason for the season!
