We had a series of storms pass through our area. We got some hail that was a little smaller than a marble. Our daughter sent us this photo of the hail they received. She as well as our granddaughter were a little concerned about possible damage. Fortunately, there was only minor damage to some houses she has for her outside cats.
@ggshearron - She's adopted some feral cats. I'm not sure how that came about. Two kittens were in one of the houses but were unharmed, although, they were probably pretty shaken up by the experience.
@skipt07 Thanks for your message. I have been taking a family member daily to the hospital for Radiotherapy, so had neither the time nor the head space to get out and take photos. My Memory Month was my solution and all the photos were from 3 years before I ever joined 365. Gave me something nice to look at and think about amidst the exhaustion and stress.
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope and pray it will be effective in treating them.
I have a former co-worker and long time good friend that was recently diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. He is digressing so fast. It has hit all who knows him in any way very hard.

Oh Skip, I know how hard Lewy Body is. I have a friend who lives in Florida, who was a NASA physicist. He worked on the first Moon landing. He has it and although his mind lasted the longest, that is fading now too. Terribly hard thing to watch, I truly feel for your friend and for you.
@casablanca - I've done some reading about and if I understood right, it depends on how it manifests in the person that determines what it effects first. Body or brain. The sad thing is that in talking to his wife after the fact, there were signs of him having it a long time ago that none of his doctors picked up on. Otherwise, I wonder if he started getting medication earlier if it might have slowed the progression? Sadly, we'll never know. My friend is in a nursing home because his wife is unable to care for him as he is unable to stand or walk on his own.
