The Iceman Cometh by skipt07

The Iceman Cometh

On Wednesday morning we awoke to about 4 inches of snow and everything was coated by a layer of ice. As I looked out the front window I saw our faux pine garland, left over from Christmas, on the porch railing with icicles. So I snapped a couple shots to try and capture the effects of the ice.
Golly it must be cold for the long icicles that don't appear to be melting yet! Nice composition!

@maggiemae - Thank you very much Maggie! It is 18F (-8C) right now. It might hit freezing sometime next week for a day or two.

That looks cold! We're having a little more winter weather in Florida. It's in the 30's tonight.

@tskipper - My oldest daughter lives in Panama City and I was picking on her because one day it was warmer in Anchorage, AK than in the panhandle.

@tskipper - My son-in-law is in the Air Force. They were reassigned 2 years ago. They moved from Anchorage to Panama City. Big climate change! Pensacola was the otherr base they could have been stationed.

I really like the colors. The blue is quite frosty.

We had pretty much the same thing, Skip. Great capture of the icicles.
