Sorry We're Closed!

I felt the need so go outside and do a macro. Of course the Rose of Sharon (hibiscus) is still in bloom. I used my 70-200 mm with a 36 mm extension tube. It was windy and none of my shots were crisp and sharp. So I did the next best thing and ETSOOI!
@espyetta - Does this pass for a ETSOOI?

That editing magic is a life-saver on occasion, isn't it. You used it well in this image, giving the RoS an artist appearance. Nicely done. (And blast that wind for all the times it's messed up our photography plans, huh?)

P.S. Thanks again for the positive remark shared on my B&W Curvaceous pic. I enjoyed reading your remark!

There is always a breeze when I try to do a close up of flowers. So you have my sympathy. But you have turned a lemon into lemonade.

@kerristephens - Thank you very much Kerri!

@tabarlett - You ar every kind Tammy! Thank you!

@lyndemc - What is frustrating is when you take a number of shots and they look sharp in the LCD display on the camera and when you view them on the monitor you then see all that isn't in focus .

@pflaume - Thank you very much Lisa! I am not a very good do-it-yourselfer. I usually find myself having to do extra work trying to make what I have done look good. I guess my photography runs in the same vein. If only I did it right in the first place I wouldn't have to spend more time than need be to make it look good!

@princesicita - Thank you so much. That was my only avenue to hide the out of focus parts. But, how many people would want to buy a photograph that looks like a painting?
