Twas A Dark and Dreary Night

We were at our daughter's and I went out to take some pictures of her neighbor's house lit up for Christmas. It was misting and when I looked down the street I loved how the rain in the air accentuated the beams of light from the street lights. There was very little color showing so I just made it a b/w. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to get my tripod so I could use a lower ISO.
Ah very nice! Rubbish regarding the ISO. A good image is a good image, nobody but us photographers ever really notice ISO noise ;-) And this is a good photo...in my book - a ton of mystery :)

A very moody and effective shot. Reminds me of one of the old Hollywood detective movies. Fav!

I like how the street lights create a triangle of light in which we can see the rain falling. This pic has me looking for a man in a fedora and trench coat standing by, almost unnoticeable.

@icamera - Thank you for your wonderful your comment and critique! I guess if I had used a lower ISO that would have kept the shutter open longer and I am not certain how that would have affected the overall feel.
