Sunday after church and lunch we went to America's Cemetery. No, not Arlington. This is a local cemetery that first became widely known for having the "Avenue of 444 Flags". Then later the owners created the War on Terror Memorial. And now they changed the name of the cemetery from Hillcrest to "America's Cemetery" second only to Arlington. (That's debatable) The one thing I do like about this cemetery is that none of the headstones are above ground. I like that because when we leave this earth we are all the same. These are some of the brightly colored trees that line the road.

Thank you for your very kind comments and favs! The reds are sparse this year. We only see them intermixed with lots of yellows and golds. I believe these are Japanese Maples (?) that normally are reddish. There are two places in the cemetery that they have clusters of these planted together like this.
