Corn, Corn and More Corn

We traveled to the Land of Lincoln to visit our granddaughter and her family and celebrate our granddaughter's first birthday. While our home state has many farms with lots of fields and pastures, but they don't come close to the farmlands in Illinois. Best viewed on black.

(After thought as to the composition. I saw a photographer on Instagram get his camera very low to the ground, he just held it in one hand by the grip and just snapped the shutter. He never looked through the viewfinder or live view. Of course his turned out far better than this)

@myhrhelper - Thank you, Kathy. Many years ago my wife and I and 10-12 others from our church went through the Navigators' 2:7 class that required memorizing Scripture. This was one of the first 5 Scripture references we had to memorize. It stuck with me and became a promise verse I have held on to since then.

But I wonder if another area might have. In 1985 we experienced a big tornado outbreak that spawned numerous tornadoes that affected, Northeastern Ohio, Northwestern Pennsylvania, Western New York and, I believe, Ontario, Canada. After the tornado passed through our area the sky turned to a color similar to this. It was very eerie.
