These are new Geranium buds forming in the hanging basket.
I am jumping ahead as I need to take my computer in to have a tech look at it. Windows stopped recognising one of my external hard drives and so I took it in to have it looked at. I got a call today telling me there is nothing wrong with the HD. So I need to take the computer in to see what is wrong with it. I have no idea how long I'll be down. If it is the computer HD they will have to install a new one and transfer my files over. Plus I'll have them add more RAM so that PhotoShop and Lightroom will work faster.
@danette - Not yet. The technician called me Friday and asked for permission to run some diagnostics. He plugged the external HD into the computer and now it is seeing it again. Then he said a couple of things that makes me wonder if I took it to the right place to have it looked at. He told me that he hasn't do a "Blue Screen of Death" to find out what is causing it. I asked about checking the memory dump created by Windows when the computer crashes? He said, "Oh yeah I can check that." I am thinking, I had to tell you that? I then asked if it is repairable could I get more RAM to be able to run PhotoShop and Lightroom better. I don't know how many slots this machine has. He tells me if I put more RAM in that it would make the other useless. I asked, the other what? He said memory. I don't know where he got that idea? If you add memory sticks it increases the amount of RAM. I hope I get my computer back in one piece.
@danette - My wife's cousin is a guru. I had him build me one to my specifications a few years ago but, he isn't always available when something comes up. He has built his Dad a couple computers and he is an IT for a security company. It could be that after working with them all day you don't wait to do it when you go home..
I took a couple computer classes at Penn State, (adult education) but only got certificates no degrees.
