Rolling Hills of Ireland? by skipt07

Rolling Hills of Ireland?

I wish! But ah lass 'tis only an Amish corn field decked out in it's finest greenery to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."
Love that prayer. I think we used it at our wedding. Maybe it didn't mention fields, though. Beautiful scene!

The way the world is going, it may be that the Amish were right all along - certainly when everything goes belly up, they'll be the best equipped to survive under the new order.

@vignouse - You are so right Richard. Their way of life has prepared them well to be survivalists.

I lived in Ireland for 2 years and never saw a sky as blue as that, but I did see a lot of rain!! But I'll let you dream in honour of St Paddy's Day :) Nice sweeping landscape

@vignouse I like what Richard says - they are such a hard working lot and stick together - have for such a long time. Certainly very green here for this time of year!

@maggiemae - Our weather continues to make these big swings between Spring and Winter. On the 14th we got 3 inches of snow. On the 16th most of the snow had melted and today it started out raining and now it is changing back over to snow. Usually this is what we get in February and March fluctuates but not to this extreme.
