I was watching some Gold Finches in our Rose of Sharon bush and was hoping to capture one or more in all their splendor. But I settled for this lone blossom as it was closing up for the night. I cropped it down a lot. I was using my 600 mm lens but it would have taken a 1200 mm lens to bring it in this much.
