i couldn't get there fast enough tonight. when the sun was still up in the horizon the light film of clouds gave it a wonderful golden glow. i asked partner to drive me over so i could save some time and get at least part of the sun. eight minutes made a big difference. before we got to the marina the sun was a deep bright red. when i got to the boats, it had set, and only a faint glow of red remained.
there's a similar shot from last saturday where one of the boats was actually coming back to moor which i've posted on my blog: http://one-photograph-a-day.blogspot.ca/
thank you for your views and comments, my good friends; i do appreciate them.
Don"t you hate when that happens... This is lovely though. So different without the boats . I had to go back and forth a couple times to make sure it was the same place. Yep same water tower. lol.
I never knew how fast sunlight changes....until I did this project! I loved all three of the pics you took here! The masts in the reflection are pretty!
