untitled

i couldn't think of anything catchy or clever for a title. i didn't get out of the apartment at all as the wind was rather vicious since early morning. so i fiddled with the boxes in my spare room and got rid of two. a million more to go. the rate i'm going i probably won't finish with them before i die! discovered a few items that belonged to the ex and i called as i don't want to be lugging around other people's crap. i also ended up cleaning my floor as i like to lie on it when i'm thinking or reading.

so this is all i have to offer, a minimalist still life à la japonaise, plucking them from the window ledge.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.

Super shot!! I'm always a sucker for negative space photo!!

I like the negative space too- and understand the drive to stay indoors. It's been so cold here! Jeff's pneumonia, a flat tire, and a horrible cold have been my reason for not leaving the house, not being on 365 and not touching the camera. Hopefully that will change soon. I'm so far behind I may or may not get to the artist challenge. It's been a rough start to 2018!

@summerfield absolutely not offended. It is just that there is a reason why it makes me sad and it wouldn't be fair to share that in public. Sorry to cause you worry (and thanks for your subtlety)
