at the risk of being repetitive, this is all i have to offer for today. why? because the cluster of icicles in the balcony railing have melted and i meant to use them to photograph bubbles. also, it would have been better if i had included a couple of sushi bits but i have already eaten them before i thought of this idea. so...
but fret not - i was told this weekend we're going to be in the deep freeze once again. oh, boy! i should tear apart more boxes to see what i can photograph indoors!
A beautiful set of China you have there. After having lived in Asia for 10 years, I am always happy to see that people actually use it. A fabulous composition and shot, fav!
@suesmith - these are part of my "japanese" dishes/implements. when i take home sushi for lunch or dinner, i like to eat them using proper dishes and implements. it just enhances the taste of the food.
@ludwigsdiana - yes, i laugh at some of the people i know with beautiful houses and expensive china cabinets with their expensive china on display but use melamine or plastics for everyday meals. when i used to host dinners at my place, only the white people were excited to eat on proper china, while the others were afraid they might break them. what silly ideas, really. i used to have 4 different sets of china but at my advance age i very seldom ask people over as i don't cook meat anymore so i gave one entire set to the girl who used to model for me at the beginning of my project. but once i retire, i may get into food social once again.
@taffy - crazy and weird! everything's melted and there are big puddles everywhere. but i was told we'll be in the deep freeze again this weekend.
Love it. We use them already a long time before it`s became populair in our country.
You can`t own wild life.
The goverment decided long time ago that there most come more area`s for the wild birds. Now we have more than plenty of them.
