I've always liked the shadows and patterns created in the late afternoon by our front gate. I took this walking home from work about 4:00 on a cloudless day.
The sky was so blue and clear, and I noticed the light hitting the buildings at exactly the same time of day as when you took this photo. It made me wish I had my camera with me, too. I like the balance of circles, lines, and rectangles here, and how you placed your camera at an angle to capture the shadows.
