Picasso in Chicago

Walking home from a meeting in the loop, and now carrying my camera most of the time, I shot several photos in Daley Plaza of the Picasso. I liked the perspective of this one focusing on the face against the office building.
Nice. Do you know what this piece is called please?

great perspective, I like the way the blue in the sculpture is mirrored in the windows of the building behind.

@steampowered It's actually untitled. Most of the time people just call it "The Picasso" -- it was the first of Chicago's outdoor sculptures and stands about 50 feet tall. It's always been one of my favorites.

I love how you captured it to emphasize how the planes are at such interesting angles -- both the planes of the stature as well as the building. One of my absolutely favorite spots in Chicago, too, especially when you watch children (mostly) sliding down the front bottom part of this statue and interacting with it in a joyful way.

@taffy Thanks - what a shame it isn't called something, no matter how incongruous.
