Buckingham Fountain is one of Chicago's iconic landmarks, located in the middle of Grant Park, creating a park that goes from the shore of Lake Michigan to Michigan Avenue, which is the main boulevard of the city. The fountain's water display varies from the scene here, to the scene each hour when the water shoots over 150 feet in the air (I had taken a shot at sunset from a distance, as I was walking over -- in my extras album: http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-05-15; but when it went off the next hour, I had my wide angle off and my tripod was in the wrong place for the more dramatic shot -- I was with Daniel @danielwsc and am hoping he was able to capture it).
I'm sadly back on my "365 diet" of an hour a day for the next few days because of work. UGH! I hope to catch up this weekend. Thank you all for your continued viewing and encouragement -- I appreciate it so much!
Nice! I am about a week behind with my pictures so I won't post my shot of the fountain for a few days. Maybe everyone will have forgotten your shot by then and won't compare ;)
Thank you for visiting and commenting! I really appreciate it. Andrew - thanks for the fav!
