In the kitchen, talking to JIm across the counter when I noticed the reflection of the dining room light fixture in the granite. I'd never seen this reflected before and took the shot. Tonite, I brought out color using Color Efex and Topaz Adjust software. The original was sort of cloudy looking. Jim was the one who mentioned that he thought it looked like a parachute dropping through the sky. I was mostly looking at the circles -- the bottom of the rods, and the ones that disappear behind the stone.

this is great! very good eye Taffy! Thank you for all of your rexent comments! I won't bug you with saying thanks on each one but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate them:) You can call me colie or Nichole:) my friends and family call me cole or colie but it's short for Nichole. I'm fine with either.
This phenomenon is the most obvious aspect of doing a 365 project - you'll be having a conversation with someone and then it happens - you spot something, run for the camera and leave your companion befuddled. It doesn't take them long to figure out that you have a disease- it can't be helped by anything other than massive doses of camera time. ;-)
@timandelke So true Elke! And sometimes the response is to roll eyes or laugh, and others, real annoyance. I need to figure out which prompts which response!
Love the processing..very well seen..ordinary to extraordinary! Well Taffy...u r so good and do so much...not sure if this is challenge enough...so here goes...besides photography...if there was anything u would have liked to do in your life but it just wasn't the right time...depict what that would be...ie: movie star..astronaut...:) And show why u in particular would have liked to do or be this...Does that work? :)
@nanderson Wow -- now that is a hard challenge!! I'll give it some thought and try to figure out something that I could draw on. The problem with being pretty happy is that I can't think of anything I would have done otherwise (other than being a photojournalist if I'd only known that was a real career!). Mmmmm....this may be the hardest challenge I've had since joining 365.
@riverlandphotos Haha -- I was trying to figure out what a wimple world meant til I saw the next comment! I figured it was an important word from the photography field!
Oh, and my next challenge I've received is forced perspective. I'm already sweating away!
