This is our neighbor's relatively young pup who is really cheerful, spirited, and incredibly friendly. He thinks the best greeting is to run at you at full speed from half a block away, take a little leap, and try to place his paws on your shoulder. After greeting me, his owner got him to sit down for a nano-second so I could take a quick photo. I don't think I've ever seen him hold still.
I'm still behind in thanks and visits, but want to thank you so much for your wonderful response to the 'fire' shots of the lily yesterday. I saw the lily made it to PP today and it really gave me a boost.
Great capture! I love the way he is looking at you! I have to say I am a bit of a scared cat as far as big dogs are concerned and would be a bit worried if this dog came jumping at me!
He is a darling! I bet those eyes get him out of being in trouble for the naughty behaviour lol Great shot Taffy...especially when you had to have a fast trigger finger for this shot!
@helixconcepts Thanks Laura, for your visits and comments today. I really do appreciate it and am so excited for you that you've completed 365! Are you going to stay around?
@lightchaser Gosh, Alan I don't know what causes the halo. I just looked on my screen version and it isn't there on my computer, but it is on my iPhone. I'm guessing it has to do with my shooting into the light for this shot. Thanks for your kind comment about the balance of the shot and the negative space.
Cute shot!
