One last shot from my Dallas trip, taken while walking home from visiting the museum at the Dallas Book Depository, made infamous through the Kennedy assassination. The sky is the same as the photo I posted December 5th. Processed today by combining three bracketed shots. The lighting that afternoon was amazing.
Limited time for photography because of the end of semester so I focused today's work on my get pushed challenge water crown http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-12-10. The photos I took on the way to school weren't anything very exciting, nor were the ones I took at my classes final night -- a teacher research mini-conference where they presented their projects. Last class is tomorrow night, then grading, then break. Time flew this semester!
@eyesmile Thanks so much for the Fav, Gena! @friend2303 Thanks Vijay! What I liked was the way it was fluttering in the breeze and from our angle, I could catch it with no buildings or trees. @zenna Thanks for the fav, Gayanne!! @38dcmoder Thanks for the fav, Dawn! @angiec Thanks for the Fav, Angie!
@pamknowler Thanks so much Pam! It was pretty moving seeing this on the way back from the museum, the flag there, etc. It kind of reminded me our our national anthem which I tend to think is too war-like (I like America, the Beautiful as a national anthem instead), but the color of the sky did make me think of what it might have looked like back in the day when they saw the flag after a night of cannon fire.
