Apples...I Must Be In Michigan

Stopped at a local market on the way up to Beaver Island yesterday and photographed the prolific apples that are available fresh from the trees during this time of year.
Taken on Nov 1 but just realized my camera is on Australia time.

Perhaps you're already back in Chicago, but we found our favorite apples here are Courtland as baked, they're apple-pie-delicious! On our way home last year, we found some at Costco & I brought a box of them back to California for one last round! Yes, they're THAT GOOD!
