What a metropolis! Wonderful night skyline, with the lights and the vertical lines. The height makes me feel woozy. ;) I am so happy to be back in the mid-west.

I'm away from home and viewing this on an iPad, which is just as well - if I was at home looking at this on the 27" monitor, I would spend the whole day detail spotting! A spectacular image.
@neatz Thanks Anita! And thanks for asking about the fire. We are nearing final stages of house reconstruction and barring no complications, we could be moving back by the middle of June. We'll know for sure by mid-May. We've had so many complications, though, I'm not going to count on it.

What a strange outcome of the fire -- learning how much we do like living in this type of condo. We'd have never imagined it in a million years -- we've always wanted our own entrance, privacy, etc. and a neighborhood. But, this has been eye-opening.

@eyesmile Thanks Gena! I haven't posted about the house in a while. We're busily choosing interior things at the moment (e.g., kitchen cabinets, paint, ordering furniture), with the assumption that we'll be moving back around mid-June. Who knows, though, as things keep changing! But we will HUGELY miss this condo and the amazing views. It's really made the fire experience bearable having a nice place to live as so much of the rest of the experience is not so great.
What a stunning night shot - and the pov is fabulous - you feel like you're looking out at the whole country. Really like the receding light - the shot is awesome.
Damn, you are so going to miss this view!!! A FAV, of course, and who knows maybe you will sell the place once it is all done, and move to a condo with a rooftop!
