I knew that window washing had started so I had my camera and lens ready. But I'd missed them the past 2 days. The day I took this (Friday), I heard a bump at our living room window and grabbed my camera and snapped off about 10 shots before they disappeared down to the next floor. There were two guys, and they moved fast, but so casually you would have thought they were 3 feet above the ground, not 33 levels high!
Makes me feel dizzy. They must be very brave to do work like this. If it were for me the windows would never be cleaned, at least higher than the second floor.
Not a job for me, don't know how they do it. Love how he has one hand for himself and one for his work, a piece of advice taken from the sailing community I think.
Wonderful shot and planning in your part.
oh my, that is the same as the guys that suddenly appeared at the skybridge that crosses between the Petronas Towers at level 41/42 in Kuala Lumpur. Even their sponges are attached to the cages so they can't drop them
The swirls of soap bubbles look so cool across your window.... I am not focusing on how high up this is. I see his hand, gripping onto the outside window pane. I'd be white knuckling it, but no evidence of that here.
How wonderful to get your windows washed for all those super views! I guess its incorporated in your rate or somewhere! Funny what we like on 365 (fav) - window washing! But its the good composition really!
Oh yes what a fantastic capture Taffy! Perfect timing! Love the swipe of suds! I have often watched in awe guys like this up high on London's tall buildings . Great to be able to get a shot of them from the inside! Fav!
Really awesome shot! Not one that many of us would have opportunity to snap! I'm fascinated by these guys and have taken several from the ground. Thanks for an inside look! :)
Wonderful shot and planning in your part.
