First, a huge thank you to the lovely comments and favs on the sunset across the two time periods last night. I'm glad you enjoyed them. And another huge thanks for putting my fireworks shot into the TT -- so psyched to see that one make it!
A change of pace -- today Vickey and I went to the frog pond at the Central Michigan University biological station that is on Beaver Island (one reason is we have quite a unique eco-system and it's also a site for studying the Great Lakes. Frogs went into hiding but we found a few, while the wild irises were showing off their blooms.
I'll be off and on 365 over the next week as we are heading to Chicago to move back into our house after the massive fire last November. I posted a collage Nov 10, 2014 - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2014-11-10 - showing the destruction. I hope to have some time by the end of the week to take a photo showing a big contrast. There's a lot to coordinate and move, so I'm not sure how much I'll be on 365 -- hope to keep up, but who knows...so will wish everyone a good week ahead and look forward to returning as soon as I can.
The frogs are great to see as they are shy creatures! You will be so happy getting back into your apartment! Are you going to be carried over the door entrance?
Beautiful collage, did you kiss the frog? Maybe he will turn into a handsome prince.
How exciting that you are finally moving back into your home again. I know only too well just how much is involved with moving so just take your time and don't rush.
I thought if they didn't revise the time you would be moving now. Glad they are finally finished. It's been quite an adventure for you though one I am sure you would have gladly not done. This is a good collage. Haven't captured a frog yet though I heard a big bull frog in a pond we visited last weekend. Actually two who I think may have been calling out to each other.
Excellent pictures of life at the frog pond! Yay, moving day has finally arrived! Soon you will be able to settle in to a normal life again. Best wishes on your old/new home.
I LOVE this frog!! He is a beauty. Frogs are one of my favorite creatures, both real and in garden art form! Such beautiful markings and colors. What a lovely pond also.
