Yay! Flash of Red has come to an end. I enjoyed the challenge of thinking in B&W all month and look forward to being able to include color once again in my main album. And it was great to see the range of b&w postings all month. "March-ing" on!
@maree_sanderson Do you use a mac? If so, Command-Shift-4 gives you a crop tool that you can then use for a focused screen shot. It saves as a .png, but then just bring it into picmonkey to add the framing and title. Good luck!
I have been trying most of the afternoon and evening to do either a screen shot or a collage in Picmonkey (not enough spaces) Then made an album in Flickr and tried to do a mosaic using Big Huge Labs which I have used previously in my PC. Finally uploaded an album in FB so my family could see the whole month. Now I see you have done this beautifully Taffy and I see your comment above about Command shift 4 - who knew? I am so frustrated not sure I will even bother now!! Grrrrr wish I knew what I was doing on the computer!! Apart from all that - this is a fabulous collage of all your fab shots through February and it looks wonderful seeing them all together with your fishes of red!! Huge Fav!!
@pamknowler Oh dear!!! I wish you'd emailed and asked...no need to be frustrated. Command-Shift-4 allows you to crop from your screen, while Command-Shift-3 takes a picture of your entire screen (which you can import into lightroom or picmonkey and crop and save as a jpg. Next time you'll know and be easy...
Looks great... thanks for the collage making tips (which skills I completely lack). Even though you are glad to get back to color, there are some beautiful shots here.

@pamknowler I struggled with this as well Pam and in the end ran out of time. I tried Collagelt but couldn't get it to upload so used Picmonkey but couldn't get the whole month on so mine isn't complete. http://365project.org/thistle/365. Thanks to Taffy I'll do better next time!! Have just looked through your month and there are some stunning shots in there don't know how I've missed them!
@taffy Thanks for this Taffy/ I ended up just using picmonaey but couldn't fit all my February shots on so jus added a selection. Now I know how to do it for next time!

Outstanding collection of black and white photos, Taffy! I love seeing all of them in collage form. You should be very proud of your Flash of Red February images. What a wonderful accomplishment! It really was a fun month. Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my images. :-)
@paulaw It was hard to have a month without color, so the second album ended up being an important outlet now and then. But now that I'm done, I did benefit from the discipline.
@golftragic It's just the calendar view cropped from the screen using screen capture. Then, the calendar view was imported whole into picmonkey where you can choose a frame. I just made the bottom of the frame larger. But I didn't create a collage at all -- just used the existing one from viewing the month.
This is so sophisticated and absolutely gorgeous! I had no idea you'd framed the screen shot...how brilliant is that!! Now, for the first time, I want to go and fill everything in!
