I'm in Buffalo to work with a rural school starting very early tomorrow which gave me this great photo opportunity. I had to fly in today so my friend picked me up and we went out to Niagara Falls, with just enough time to photograph on the US and the Canadian sides. Great fun til the sun went away (which was fine as our fingers were numb by then). Thanks for your recent visits and comments -- always appreciated! The 3D ones have been fun to figure out, and I'm glad you saw the fun in the biker moving van!
Wonderful winter shot of Niagara! Did you take this from the bridge? I was fortunate to be there in Spring a couple years ago. The falls are quite a wonder.
That's gorgeous Taffy. Beautiful composition from that side! We visited about this time of year in 2013 but only from the Canadian side - stayed with friends in St Catherines. I love the cascade and that walkway down below! Amazing.
StunningTaffy!! I loved Niagara when I visited. We went on the Maid of the Mist boat and we all ended up crying - completely overwhelmed by the power and majesty of the falls!! I would love to go again with my camera - I have learnt so much since that visit on my 50th birthday!! Huge Fav for your beautiful image and for bringing back some fab memories!!
This spot is on my bucket list! Hope you had a great time in the school. I was in one that looked like the middle of the sprawl that is Southend and Leigh on sea, until I walked across the playground to see my trainee and there was open country. Amazing!
Love Niagra Falls, this capture of the mist and water, with the ice is absolutely awe-inspiring. It makes me wish I had used my good camera when I was there 2yrs ago. Love it, instant fav!
Taffy, you've excelled yourself beyond even your own high standards. This is a stunning image that captures the might and beauty of nature's force extremely well. Awesome is a much degraded word these days, but both the shot and the subject are awesome. Fav for me.
Niagara was one of my favorite trips with my dh ( though I think I say that about every trip we made). I really want to go back again and this photo is just fueling that want.
