Gulls followed us as we left Charlevoix on the Beaver Island Ferry (aka "Emerald Isle Ferry") and other gulls joined us as we pulled into the harbor. We're getting settled in - great to be back for a chunk of the summer, though heading back to Chicago already next week for a few days. I'll continue posting/commenting but I'm likely to be sporadic. Thanks for your lovely comments about my window collage -- much appreciated.
@milaniet We always love being here -- a wonderful community, laid back environment, and beautiful views. This year especially since we don't have a place to live in Chicago at the moment.
@888rachel Thanks Rachel -- yes, it's so relaxing to be here. We'll be going back and forth (staying with Junko and Bill when in Chicago) until all is sorted out with the condo. But, it is lovely to relax up here.

Good to hear you're able to unwind Taffy, you've sure earned some r&r. Great shot of this gull, perfect background. Hope you kept the hot chips well covered so the varmint didn't help himself.
