Photo buddy Vickey lives near this pond which is filled with busy wildlife. It's always fun trying to capture the quickly moving bugs, turtles, frogs, and the occasional hedgehog (which I've yet to see, but she's captured on video). This is a composite of two of my shots -- the dragonflies I couldn't capture in the background, flitting about and reflecting light, and the one image I caught of the sitting dragonfly. Neither photo worked alone, but I quite like how the combination worked out.
I thought I already commented on this. I love the Monet feel,mthe colors,mthe composite but think it would be even better with a bit of left and bottom crop

I would not have know this was a composite, until I read the comments. Lovely light and detail on the wings of this dragonfly, with a painterly feel to the rest of the image. So great, to be able to spend time near such a gorgeous place. :)
What a beautiful composite. I would never have known. @rosiekind this is only the result with an awful lot of skill and patience (although I am not doubting that you have both of those!)
