Had fun working through this image with critique from a Flickr group I'm involved in. As one said, the square version (posted here) is about the 'amorous' mushrooms, while the rectangular one - https://www.flickr.com/photos/taffyraphael/28308236493/in/photostream/ - is about mushrooms in their habitat. Processed mostly in LR with a little addition of textures since the light felt too sharp for the context. Thanks for your positive comments on my dejected sunflower and on the 'rich talk about art' commentary! Great fun!
Having seen it on Flickr, even better. I am laughing at the name and the tags, below, which is how we want to categorize things in nature that remind us of ourselves.

i love these warm earthy colours..the warm greys...and the mushrooms are beautiful. i cannot imagine how you got the background to look like that...its quite a painterly finish. Lovely Fav
