The lighting on this one was particularly tricky, and I appreciate critique and suggestions from Jane, Ross, and Eric. After three (public) rounds and many in between, here's my final version. Taken when Junko @jyokota and I were in Yangshuo photographing on the Li River.
I'm probably going to finish out the month in my main album with images from China. Still so many more to go through! Thanks as always for your lovely comments and favs.

I like the ambiguity of reality and reflection in this.
Very much looking forward to seeing the rest of your 365 posts from China; I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing glimpes of it through your eyes.
I didn't see the earlier versions Taffy, but I like this one very much. You've caught the action very well and the setting's stunning. Could be centuries ago.
@taffy I feel guilty about the Flickr site. I really must make an effort to fit that into the regular go-to places too. Seriously, this is a fabulous shot of a timeless landscape and occupation.
This is stunning and I love how you've captured the whole of he fishing line in the water. I didn't see these in China but I've seen similar in Vietnam and can appreciate how difficult it would be to get it just right! Fav!
Totally stunning - I haven't read the rest of the comments, but I take it it is the incredible Li River in China. I'm always planning to go there, but haven't made it yet. Gorgeous reflections.
