Chicago's Union Station Grand Staircase - B&W by taffy

Chicago's Union Station Grand Staircase - B&W

Union Station (building with the columns posted a few days ago) has undergone a major renovation and is living up to its grand history at 'the crossroads of America.' This is one of two similar staircases, one of which played a major role in a scene in the movie, The Untouchables, with a runaway - and occupied - baby carriage.
I liked both color and b&w so decided to post both versions.

Thank you for your kind comments on my posts yesterday - always appreciated so much!

The black and white really emphasizes all of the interesting elements, and there are so many! The bowed columns really catch my eye. Neat capture, Taffy!
