Taken on my walk with Andie @ukandie1 when we were not having wind gusts of 50 miles per hour which is what is going on at the moment. Crazy! We leave for Thanksgiving with family in Colorado in the morning, so wishing everyone who celebrates the holiday a special day.
Some very bright spotlights on so these buildings can be seen so clearly and you have got the good photo! Don't know that I would want to be living in these buildings though!
Incredible nighttime capture! I’ve always heard Chicago referred to as the Windy City, sounds like it’s living up to it’s name! Oh my, flying to Denver? I hope your flight isn’t cancelled, such huge snow storms there!
Magic shot, I particularly like the way the curves of The Bean contrast with the angularity of the background buildings. Travel safely and enjoy Thanksgiving. Strong/gale-force winds and worse seem to be happening in so many parts of the world right now, we've had an awful time with wind for weeks.
@gamelee That's a great question! I think it's reflection from the street lights. They do have some lights on but that wouldn't be enough to explain the glow overall.
Happy Thanksgiving, Taffy!
