I happened to notice the spoon rest on our cooktop reflected in the light and thought it worth 'doing something' with it. After a lot of processing so I have no idea what I did at this point, this is the result. I used LR, SnapArt, ColorEfex, and SilverEfex, and then LR again.
Reminds me of a charcoal sketch. Thanks for listing the editing stuff, fascinating. I posted a before and after today just for fun. It's amazing what you can do with editing.
Very nice- it looks both like an Impressionist painting meets a natural still life meets a classic black and white shot. I've had a lot of those times when by the time I'm happy with the processing I have no idea what I did to get it!
this is the trouble with editing for fun and then when you end up with something you like, you have absolutely no idea how you got there. I like the use of the different shades of grey here, with the extremes reserved for the spoon.
