Beaver Island's sunsets are often quite nice, but everyone once in a while, we get something spectacular. Looking straight west, we had solid orange. Looking southwest, we had soft purples, and looking northwest, some blues. What a sight! I couldn't capture it all.
The layers are beautiful. No matter how good the camera we have it never quite can capture the whole of what we actually see, especially in landscape scenes like this
