A few asked to see the originals of the orange leaf at http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2015-07-22 so I thought this was the easiest way if anyone is interested in the flow. The first one is the original crop I'd posted with the message, then I did the second crop but didn't think it worked well. The feedback really helped me rethink what the photo was a photo of.

Wow love the final as opposed to these. The arch is stronger and the bug more prominent. Nice for me to know that even you can get help and make a great photo. Thanks for all of yours, even when I don't play with the current picture I try to store it for future pictures.
VERY interesting to see your process! Can you arrange for that dragonfly to be on that fabulously curved leaf again so you can try an angle from a little more below and capture even more negative space for more options? This image is worth a lot of different playing options.
