Sun came out for a bit at last so I re-took the photo from Jan 22nd extras album to get rid of the wood floor grain. I moved the dancers around -- think I like the other composition better, but the background here better.

@archaeofrog@whdphotog@nebzphoto Thank you all! In comparing the composition, I think this one shows a better balance. But in the other one, there is a diagonal to the lines of the legs. Now that I look at it through your eyes, the balance does seem to be better here. I appreciate the comments.
I like the contrast much better in this one, and I hadn't even noticed that the woodgrain was intrusive until seeing this one without it. I'm thinking that this one is feeling a little more crowded compared to the original one in terms of dancers having breathing space?
@automaticslim Thank you! I appreciated the suggestion and it was interesting to figure out how to make it work (involved photo copy paper pieced together, standing on a chair, predicting how far the sun would move across the floor... @david68 Thanks -- appreciate the comment.
