Today's word of the day was beach so, using a new insight into my 365 diet, I decided to drastically reduce the amount of photographing I do in a day. Today, I limited myself to within 25 yards of our house, and mostly focused on the beach. I think this could work!
This photo was taken as I walked up from our swing just above the beach on the steps (you can see them in the photo in my main album - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-08-22). That photo session was a failure as the lighting was wrong. BUT, on the way up, I glanced at our wind sculpture under the trees (you can see the post of it on the far right in the other photo), and who should I see looking back at me but this interesting creature! I quickly took a few shots because with the wind blowing, the creature would be leaving and possibly never returning again.
