Teabag's Companion by taffy

Teabag's Companion

All the images of teabags had me looking at my teapots today. The teapot and its two cups are special, one of Jim's and my former doc students who now is a professor at Macau University. He invited Jim and me to be part of the university's 30th anniversary celebrations two years ago. We then spent a few days in Hong Kong where he and his wife live. They gave this to us on our last day.

I love the shape of your tea pot! It looks Japanese in style. What a lovely present. I have quite a few tea pots as I used to collect them. If I have guests I use a pot to make the tea. When it's just me it's a tea bag in a mug! Sorry I digress! Lovely shot - love the processing you have chosen.

Lovely low key shot. I could happily make my tea in such a pot.

It is a gorgeous example of modern but also heritage pottery! I love it, also being a teapot favourite! I can see how it stops the lid falling out!
