This is one of our iconic skyscrapers -- commercial on the first floor and lowest level (e.g., sight of Cheesecake Factory restaurant), and residential toward the top. On the upper floors, you can feel it sway on high-wind days.
Staying with my new plan of using the last 3 days of the month to post photos that came in 2nd during the month. I took this in early January, processed today for my b&w month challenge in my extras album. Started in Aperture, tweaked in Nik Silver Efex, then finalized with picmonkey. Then sent to @jyokota for advice (is it too over the top?). And finally posting.
Thank you for your fav's and comments which took "Freezing Cold in the Polar Vortex" to PP today.

@darylo Yes -- I use the free version of picmonkey still -- it has enough on it that I can have fun with it. I'm debating about moving to LR and PS but just don't have time (base on your experience) to do it now.
@taffy Please don't let my experience be a hindrance. What you know with Aperture (I think that's what you said you had) is sufficient. I should have watched the get-started videos. I just didn't and started importing randomly. You would probably take it on without a hitch. LR is amazing. PS I don't know yet and I have elements -- you do not appear to need the skills offered by the programs, so if you like what you're doing, I'd stick with it! But, my experience just shows how little I really understand about what I'm doing. I'm a hard-headed live and learn gal. I usually get there, just by going round about. :) Oh, and thanks for email! I'll get back to you soon. ANOTHER snow day down here, so my schedule is all off.
@dh What a nice comment, Delena! I appreciate it. I've been going through memory cards and photos, cleaning house, so to speak, and I've realized some of my 'seconds' on some days are better than my 'firsts' on other days!
@elaine55 Wow -- I hadn't even noticed how close I was to 365 in this album! Thanks for pointing that out. I so appreciate your support and hope to continue to see you even though year 1 is complete for you.
I'll look out for this building when we come over in June.
