Posting word for the day -- garden -- a day early since it was sunny and dry and I couldn't wait. I cleaned out our small garden area and sure enough, there were sprouts under the leaves and dead branches! Then went on a search in the neighborhood for something in bloom. These little ones obliged.
Processed using HDR -- hoping it might turn into an interesting abstract. Not so much, but I like marking the first outdoor blossom I've seen this year.

Right, so after much thought, your challenge - take a shot showing textures or patterns, filling the frame. Or as an alternative push, take any household object and capture it in an unusual or unique manner. I hope you are happy with one of those options :-)
@salza I thought I'd responded, but don't see anything here, so just incase, this is a terrific challenge. I have an idea for combining the idea of patterns and a mundane kitchen object. Hopefully I can pull it off!
