My get-pushed partner, Sue Wilde @swilde, asked me to create portraits that were not selfies. I carried my camera to graduation ceremonies yesterday and enlisted some colleagues in posing for me. Guess which one is in leadership and policy, working with the administrators (principals) education program, and which is the one who gets our preservice teachers excited about science instruction? I did explain to them that I needed to create a portrait on this solemn occasion, and this is as serious as I could get the two of them to pose! Posted with permission.
That's a delightful photo! I recall, as a child, seeing a teacher of mine at the grocery store and being amazed that she "lived in the same world" I did! My current perspective is being around the faculty with my son-in-law and they're all about as much fun as the guys in your photo when they'e not in the classroom!
