While our sunsets have been awfully nice lately, I'm feeling a bit boring about posting them so often. But with lensbaby to practice, work to do, there's not much time to photograph til the end of the day. And they are different each night! Tonight I decided to just do the lake, and not disrupt the scene with silhouettes of any of the bushes, trees, or beach growth. This was a composite of 3 bracketed shots with my camera on the tripod, using my telephoto lens.

Have you considered doing a lensbaby sunset. Now I now how they look but not how they (lensbaby) work so not sure it is possible. Think if you did you might want a bigger sun. Just a thought. Love the soft look you gave or captured on the lake water. Usually the water has sharp or glossy looks.
This is stunning...great colours and a nice glow to draw the eye. Taffy, you mention here what I have realised through my sunrise/sunset series: each one is different and special in its own way...so keep posting!
