This triptych works for me Taffy, I particularly like the way subtle, but distinct differences in the toning of each individual shot. It all looks so wonderfully cool and inviting.
Sometimes the pictures don't match up. He is very interesting. I've looked a couple of times. Love his pictures of his parents. Gotta try it. "your woods are lovely, dark and deep".
Yes, they are fun to do, and I like this one a lot! One thing I noticed about his triptychs is that he plays with scale, or alters his vantage point slightly. They are not a pano separated by a frame, but rather 3 photos taken from a slightly different angle or vantage point.
Another very thoughtful triptych...this time you have really nailed the execution of three images which could each be an image in its own right! Well done!
@888rachel Thanks Rachel. I actually like doing these and am so glad the artist challenge introduced the idea. I haven't yet done one true to his style of three separate photos, but I've learned a lot about composition by revision some of my photos with this framing in mind.
