Here you go -- #2 for the theme. Had fun trying to bring out the specks of rust. Not sure about the overall composition -- sort of documentary more than narrative/interpretative.
I really like those flakes of rust, they are such a nice point of interest. I find the dof a bit shallow for me, and keep wanting to see more of the details. A great idea, I might need to raid my husbands tools!
@salza Thanks Sally. The storm passed over Chicago without just rain and a little snow, and tons of fog. Nothing like what the east coast is facing -- sounds quite awful!
Lovely textures of the rust here Taffy. I am with Rachel @888rachel on this one as I would prefer the dof to be just a bit deeper to see just a bit more detail. I think it's because the screw is sideways on. Not sure I am making myself clear here. I think I would prefer your pov to be from the front of the screw for a better composition. This seems to go against everyone else's comments - I suppose it wouldn't do for us all to like the same thing!! LOL!!
