Our Good Sides by taffy

Our Good Sides

For b&w, two sculpted llamas who live in Santiago. They were quite elegant looking and I would have liked to take them home with me.
They do look pretty cool. And beautifully shot and edited too. I'm sure they wouldn't have noticed if you had taken them with you :)

So sweet but probably better off in their native climate! Lovely b& w image.

Beautiful, love them in B&W :)

I wouldn't have guessed that they are sculpted as they look like pottery in this image - their simple shape and form is perfectly suited to B&W and I like the way they are lit and processed.

@888rachel Remember the sad fate of the penguin who I dropped (and Mr Superglue had to restore)? That was my souvenir! Well, and a very cool sweater-vest that I'm enjoying. We decided not to buy 'things' since we are in such transition re housing and everything we have will have to be moved again. There were lovely things in Chile and I really did like these llamas!

@vignouse You're probably more accurate, Richard. I think they may be molded pottery. They were each too unique to think the artist was using a pour-type form. I'm actually sort of sad I didn't buy them. They looked great as a pair and I don't think a single one would have been as dramatic.

They are a great black and white subject because of their bold "color". I would have had a hard time leaving these two fellows behind. Nice shot!
