For my mentor/critique group's focus on food. Rachel, Marnie, Pam, and Ruth -- not sure if this will 'count' -- you can see the ice cream cones on the left, and all the ice cream is under these very cool looking metal structures. I couldn't resist! I do have some 'real' food shots to post but they aren't quite ready.
From our walk to Cathedral Square this morning. Ice cream vendors were quite a common sight, and the weather had warmed enough that it looked very appealing!
I love the shape of the metal covers. Can't quite work out what they are used for though. You have cones in the shot which qualifies it as a food shot - just! Lol! It must be warmer there if you have ice cream vendors out!
@pamknowler The ice cream containers are underneath the cones. The cones are supposed to (I think) look like soft serve ice cream (not sure what it's called in the UK -- the soft stuff that swirls out of a machine).
Yes, those metal tops do look like a soft serve. What a unique way to display ice-cream! I hope you try some while you are there, and tell us if it's good.
