Aquarium on the Hillside by taffy

Aquarium on the Hillside

The Shedd Aquarium is one of the main museums on Museum Campus. A (very patient re photography) walking buddy and I did our 9000 steps today throughout the park and the wetlands by Lake Michigan. Quite amazing to have this in the city. Behind me in this photo is Lake Shore Drive and the city skyline.
I'm off via train tomorrow to St Louis for some long days of meetings and back this weekend, so apologies in advance for being missing. Excited to meet up with @rosiekerr -- a big plus for having meeting there!
And a big thank you for your kind comments on Marina Towers and the Into the Frame b&w. I appreciate it! Will return to commenting again this weekend.
Sensational view!

This was one of my favorite places as a child. We went there many times. Great memories. The only place I liked more was the museum of science and industry.

I love aquariums and would probably like this one! Nicely captured and have a safe trip! A very good friend of mine lives in Fenton not too far away. You'll have to get a shot or two of the arch- and if you have time, take a ride to the top!
