Bikes for Rent! Bikes for Rent!

Once we went through the red gate (shown in Junko's main album), climbed the stairs (shown in my main album - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2016-11-03 ), on the top of the wall was a vendor conveniently renting bikes for us to be able to ride the full length of the city wall. Except we decided to walk instead. This image also conveys the air quality -- there are buildings hiding inside all that smog. See Junko's extra album for bikes from another angle: http://365project.org/jyokota/challenges-and/2016-11-03
I like how the rental guy's jacket matches his bikes . . . and that you can see the city in the background, as well as the smoggy air. Truly the worst air quality I've come across in China.

I also now see that your photo shows that these were tandem bikes better. Fun to see so many people enjoying riding with a friend!

Oh golly, never seen so many tandems. Great shot. The poor air quality is one very big reason we're unlikely to go to China. Les is an asthmatic.

Wow, so many tandems. The pollution looks terrible. Hope you were able to breathe. Reminds me of Bangkok. The air there was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

@onewing Air quality was not good -- it's one thing being there for a few days, but the poor folks living in it constantly. Can't be healthy!
