Once we went through the red gate (shown in Junko's main album), climbed the stairs (shown in my main album - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2016-11-03 ), on the top of the wall was a vendor conveniently renting bikes for us to be able to ride the full length of the city wall. Except we decided to walk instead. This image also conveys the air quality -- there are buildings hiding inside all that smog. I like how the rental guy's jacket matches his bikes . . . and that you can see the city in the background, as well as the smoggy air. Truly the worst air quality I've come across in China.
Wow, so many tandems. The pollution looks terrible. Hope you were able to breathe. Reminds me of Bangkok. The air there was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
