We started our day in pouring rain and rush hour traffic leaving Chicago, arriving on Beaver Island in the midst of sunshine and bright blue skies. Sigh...so nice to be here, even for only a weekend. We'll be getting things organized for summer - fun stuff like working out landscaping work to be done. Less fun stuff like scrubbing the empty refrigerator today before we start filling it again. @taffy I know Taffy I love all your BI shots and would love to visit as I know I would be spoilt for choice!! The weather is very unpredictable here! It has gradually got colder as the week has gone on and it has just started to rain - the first since we arrived. Hoping it's going to improve over weekend especially as we are taking Ruth and the girls out. They want the beach so fingers crossed it is warm enough!
